What is a tessellation? Include a picture of a tessellation.
According
to the site listed below, a tessellation is "a covering of an infinite
geometric plane without gaps or overlaps by congruent plane figures
of one type or a few types." There are only two regular tessellations
(tessellations made of one type of regular polygon). These are a triangle
tessellation, a quadrilateral tessellation, and a hexagon tessellation.
